Question: How do stop getting these popup ads?

Answer: There is a difference between a popup advertisement on a website and an e-mail solicitation (spam). Popup ads on the web are not targeting you from a mailing list. Many websites are able to exist because of advertising (just like broadcast television). The current trend toward popup advertising on the 'Net has become popular in the past year for one simple reason... people click on the popups. This means revenue for advertisers and revenue for the websites that run them.

Popup ads do not run on SpamSleuth.com. We sell software... and very good software. We simply provide the software... our marketing partners provide the advertising in conjunction with various websites.

Question: I just bought Spam Sleuth... how do I get the software and install it?

Answer: You will receive a download link in the purchase confirmation email that should arrive shortly after you complete your purchase, as explained on the web sale confirmation page after you placed your order. After downloading, just doubleclick on the file, SpamSleuthSetup.exe, to install the application. If you are sure you completed registration and did not receive your email confirmation or deleted it by mistake, use the form linked from the bottom of this page to let us know and we can send you a copy of your registration information.

Question: I am having trouble installing the program. It tells me the file is invalid or corrupted or something.

Answer: It sounds like you may have received a corrupted download. That can happen because of noisy phone lines or other problems with the routing of your connection over the Internet. You can download it again until you get a valid download, or download it from someone else's internet connection.

Question: I can't seem to unlock Spam Sleuth to use it. What can I do?

Answer: You should have received a receipt in email that has the VIP Key to enter into the program to complete the registration and unlock the program after you install it. If you are sure you completed registration and did not receive your email confirmation or deleted it by mistake, use the form linked from the bottom of this page to let us know and we can send you a copy of your registration information.

Question: I'd prefer to have a CD with Spam Sleuth, can I get one?

Answer: Yes! There is an option on the ordering page for an additional $5.95 fee ($7.95 international orders). If you ahve already purchased Spam Sleuth and wish to now order the CD, just send us an email using the form linked from the bottom of this page.

Question: I've tried to uninstall Spam Sleuth and it will not let me uninstall. How do I uninstall Spam Sleuth?

Answer: To uninstall, RIGHT click on the Spam Sleuth Tray Icon and select Exit. Then click Start->Settings->Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Spam Sleuth, and then Remove.
